many people, I discovered Arrested Development (AD) years after it was
on the air through the DVDs. It quickly became one of my favorite shows.
The crazy characters, complexity of the writing, and absurdity of the
plot all meshed together to make a very enjoyable viewing experience. As
soon as I finished season 3, I scoured the internet looking for any
information on the fabled movie that they would be making. At that time
it was still in development hell. I waited with baited breath for any
trickle of news to come out of the cast and creators. Naturally I was
super excited when it was announced that a fourth season was finally
going to be made. Netflix and Hulu entered a bidding war for the rights
to air the new season, with Netflix (my prefered poison) edging out the
competition. And now, at long last the day has arrived! We have new
episodes of one of the greatest shows ever.
